Well .. I did it ! I created a blog. As one of six billions of humans, living in a fast changing world, I wanted to write sometimes my impressions about it.
First, I have to decide in which language I should write my posts. English is the first choice if I want to be read and understood by many, but I don't think that so many people will read it. And since english is not my mother language, I will also post in german and french, both languages I write far better than english.
Today, my thinkings go to Burma, this incredible military dictature who accepts the death of potentially millions of citizens, only to secure it's own political power over the country. We see again the limits of international diplomacy, we are unable to force a dictature to help his own citizens.
Then to Lebanon... near again to a civil war, because Syria and Iran seek to take control of the whole country with the help of Hisbollah milices. After 10 years presence of UNIFIL troops in Lebanon, we must accept the fact that we are again unable to have any positive influence in solving the problems. Only an open war in Lebanon, defeating at least Syria and the milices, would open new chances for the country ... but who would accept to pay the high price of a confrontation with Iran and Syria ? Even if Israel is not always a model for democracy and human rights, it's the last fortress to prevent iranian and syrian expansion, and it should become increased military and financial support.
